El Centro DF Georgetown

Romping Around Georgetown, Washington DC

There’s something about the familiar that’s just so… refreshing.

This past weekend, I traveled back up to my old stomping grounds of Washington DC for a quick 3 day trip. Some of my oldest (and dearest!) friends from high school are still living up there right outside of the city, so I spent the weekend with them brunching, shopping, wandering the city, and too many stomachaches from laughing so hard to count.

One piece that I snagged during mine & Amanda’s shopping trip to Tyson’s was my very first romper! I’ve been searching high and low for one for months now so I was extremely excited to find the perfect one right before we went to brunch in Georgetown the next morning.

Oh, Nordstrom Rack, how I love you!

Saturday morning, we all got ready and Ubered out to Georgetown. Amanda, Kelcie, and I had reservations at El Centro DF.

Since this is my first romper, I wasn’t prepared for just how comfortable they are. Sure, they’re flowy and cute, but it was just like wearing a sundress- no hassle to get ready! I’m officially romper obsessed.

We lucked out and got a table right in the window. The glass was opened, so we were able to sit, catch up, people watch, and enjoy their insanely tasty brunch.

We ordered their Agua Frescas; I stuck with watermelon all morning and they ventured out to try their pineapple flavor as well as some of their other drinks.

Their brunch was amazing! We stayed for about 4 hours (haha..) and tried a variety of drinks & foods that they offered. It was a flat fee of $35.00 per person and it was all you can eat & drink. After a few agua frescas, we were feeling great and their food was simply amazing. Plus, $35.00 in Georgetown does not get you very far, so we were singing El Centro’s praises.
